WALLTITE for Cavity Walls

SprayFoamInsulation.ieInsulationWALLTITE InsulationCavity Wall

BASF WALLTITE cavity wall insulation is used to restore the structural stability and reduce the thermal transmittance of existing cavity walls, with masonry inner and outer levels, in which the conventional wall ties have corroded. It is also used in new construction where its superior thermal performance and resistance to flood water is of importance. It has excellent resistance to driving rain and can be installed in all geographical exposure zones. BASF WALLTITE insulation is also ideal where the need to reduce air leakage is important. The foam completely seals the cavity and does not shrink and so air leakage through the cavity can be reduced to zero. WALLTITE closed cell cavity wall insulation stabilises the wall by adhering to the inner surfaces of the cavity and providing a continuous structural connection between the two leaves.

Because of it’s the greater thermal performance and the reduced air leakage, WALLTITE outperforms all other forms of cavity fill. It is hypoallergenic and so contains no fibres, dust or obnoxious fumes. BASF WALLTITE foam injection insulation is installed by Advaanced Insulation as a trained BASF Foam Master contractor and is British Board of Agrément approved. To supplement this assurance BASF offer a 10 year product guarantee. With a thermal conductivity of 0.026 W/mk WALLTITE achieves a U-value of 0.21 W/m2k over a 120mm cavity width as required by TGD 2011 Part L – Elemental U- values. Other U-value calculations can be provided by contacting the Advanced Insulation technical team.
